Visalia, one of the oldest settlements in the Central Valley (established in 1852), is home to more than 125,000 people. Visalia boasts one of the finest downtowns between Stockton and Bakersfield with an assortment of restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues.

The Visalia Industrial Park is ideally situated along State Highways 99 and 198 with excellent freeway access. The park is also home to Fedex, UPS and Mountain Valley Express. These couriers offer overnight delivery service to 1/3 of the U.S. market. The park also has rail access to both the Union Pacific and Burlington North-South Freight lines.

The city in partnership with the Tulare County Association of Governments (TCAG) is completing major transportation improvements ($36 million) to improve traffic and circulation along the major arterial in the park (Plaza Drive). Additionally, there is freeway and road widening underway along Highways 198 and 99, as well as the Betty Drive Interchange.

The City’s successes in landing major industrial firms such as VF Outdoor, Jo Ann Fabrics, Mor Furniture for Less, Perfection Pet Food and most recently VWR is evidence of its ideal location and ability to maintain and support the expansion of manufacturers, distributors and a wide variety of other industrial uses. The City’s workforce is very stable and committed. So, if your company is looking for a new headquarters with good transportation access, a diversity of affordable housing styles and prices, and a readily available workforce, Visalia is the place.
