Tulare County Symphony

In its 55-year history, the Symphony has grown from its original 30 members to a complement of 75 local and regional musicians. The Symphony performs classical, pops-in-the-park, holiday and young people concerts each season.


Concerts and Theater

Presentations are available in an array of venues, including the Fox Theatre, the L.J. Williams Theatre, and the COS Performing Arts Theatre. Some of the local theaters are available to rent for concerts, plays, recitals, weddings, etc.
The L.J. Williams Theatre is an elegant performing arts facility constructed in the 1930’s. National touring companies of Broadway shows have performed at L.J. Williams Theatre. The Fox Theatre has recently been restored to its original grand design and carries the designation of The League of Historic American Theatres.


Museums

There are many museums in the area, including the Tulare County Museum, which is operated by the Tulare County Historical Society. Visitors to this museum can explore 19th Century living, complete with displays of antique clothing and textiles, furniture, buildings and more. There is also the Imagine U Children’s Museum, where you will find hands-on exhibits and activities for kids ages 1-10.
